The 48th Annual Dinner was held at Stamford Gate Hotel on Friday 3rd October 2025
The evening began with 78 Past Captains and Guests meeting at the bar, which provided an excellent opportunity for members to catch up. The dinner itself was well catered with everyone enjoying delicious three – course meal.
Ken Williams Captain of Denbighshire Past Captains Society spoke about his experience an amateur golfer and caddied a few times for David Vaughhan in the 1970s.
Unfortunately the Associations Captain, Boyd Williams not being unable to attend, it fell upon our Immediate Past Captain Glyn Lewis delivering a warm and gracious response to The Captain of Denbighshire Past Captains Society.
Glyn read out Boyds speech, and said that he was so proud and honoured to be the Associations Captain for 2025. Boyd attended as many fixtures as possible and thanked all members for their continued support that he has received throughout his year.
Mike Holland announced all the winners of the 2025 fixtures.
The Herbert Moore Memorial Trophy was well supported and the knock out rounds have been played from April with the eventual winners for the second year running to Darren Edwards and Simon Williams from Pennant Park .

The Guest Speaker Austin Knight a premier league comedian entertained us all with 45 minutes of great broad stand-up comedy.
The President Peter Parry gave a vote of thanks.
